    • Poonacha Machaiah

      Poonacha

      Poonacha has over 16 years of proven experience in Global Sales, Business Development, Operations Management, Strategic Planning and Technology Design. Through the majority of his career, Poonacha has held senior leadership positions in global sales & business development with Fortune 100 companies.

      As Senior Vice President of Worldwide Sales at Sasken Communications Technologies, he built strategic relationships within the telecom / technology industry - Semiconductor , Handset OEMs , Network Equipment Vendors and ODMs. Poonacha has closed multi-million dollar IP, product & services transactions during his tenure at Sasken.

      As Senior Director at Motorola, Poonacha was responsible for global business development for Seamless Mobility and Wireless Broadband services and was also responsible for managing the Joint Ventures with Wipro (WMNetServ) and TechMahindra (CanvasM). Poonacha has a proven track record as an entrepreneur leader. As Vice President/General Manager at Visonael Corporation (Palo Alto, CA), he was overseeing all Worldwide Sales, Professional Services and Operations. During his tenure he was able to successfully grow the revenue of the company and positioned the product portfolio from the enterprise to the services provider market. Prior to his career at Visonael, he was the principal at Dimension Enterprises - a leading Internet Data Center services startup in the Washington DC area, which was then acquired by Nortel Networks in 2000. He continued as Vice President of Services in the Nortel's Global Professional Services division.

      Early in his career, Poonacha also worked for Iridium LLC & Sprint, in various leadership roles. He is currently an advisor and guest speaker to the Entrepreneurship program at St. Joseph's College, Bangalore. Poonacha holds an MBA from the College of William and Mary in Virginia and a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Engineering from the B.M.S. College of Engineering in Bangalore, India.


    • Kannankote Sriram

      Sriram

      Sriram has over 25 years of experience in Marketing, Outsourcing, Systems Integration, Alliance Management, Business Management, Sales and Consulting. His all round experience has been in the North America and Asia Pacific markets and has strong experience in Semiconductor, Telecommunications and Mobile/Wireless industries. Sriram has also been involved in 3 startups - 1 of which went public and the other 2 which were acquired. Sriram co-founded Viewlogic, which was a successful EDA company that raised $16M in VC financing and had a successful IPO a few years later. He then started S2 Systems which was a professional services organization that helped product companies in India to sell and market their products in the U.S. Sriram went on to join as President of Equinox, an outsourcing services company. Following his time at Equinox,he then went on to become Vice President of Infoclarus, a venture backed company that provided products as well as services in the Mobile/Wireless marketplace. Sriram also worked for IP Core Engineering, and Motorola. Sriram holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from State University of New York at Buffalo.


    • Ramesh Ratan

      Ramesh

      Ramesh Ratan has an extensive background as a CFO in both public and private high technology companies. He is currently consulting as a CFO with a number of start ups.

      Ramesh was the Senior VP and CFO at Xcellerex, Inc from 2004 to 2007. Prior to that, Ramesh held the position of Senior Vice President Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Enanta Pharmaceuticals from 2001 to 2003. He was Executive Vice President of Corporate Development and Chief Financial Officer at Equinox Solutions, Inc., from 1997 to 2001. From 1995-1997, Mr. Ratan held the position of Executive Vice President of Business Development and Chief Financial Officer at American Superconductor Corporation. Prior to his position at American Superconductor Corporation, Mr. Ratan was Senior Vice President of Administration and Chief Financial Officer at Repligen Corporation from 1986 – 1994. His experience includes ten years with Bristol-Myers in Financial Planning and Analysis.

      Mr. Ratan earned his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering in India.


    • Satish Tembad

      Satish

      Satish has more than 11 years of in-depth experience in the telecom and communications industry. He was a General Manager in Sasken responsible for developing system software and application framework for consumer devices. In his career that is dominated by product development and system integration, Satish has played multiple roles spanning product management, technical marketing, program management, system architecture and development. He is a proven leader in managing large technology development, strategic planning & execution, team building & mentoring and change management. He has built multiple products which have been launched in the global market.

      In his recent role as head of program management for handsets division at Sasken, Satish was instrumental in turning around a large customer program in the area of developing Multimedia software for several large global handset customers delivering multi-million dollars, winning customer’s appreciation and strengthening the customer relationship.

      During his career, Satish has developed innovative processes and methodologies that have enhanced Sasken's ability to be a global IP Solution provider. He built and nurtured some of the key strategic partnerships and customer relations.  He has also worked in the creation and productization of 2.5G physical layer. He was a key technical contributor in licensing this IP to many customers. Satish was also instrumental in internalizing WCDMA physical layer IP acquired from a 3rd party.

      Satish started his career working on Cellular Standards for a large North American network equipment manufacturer. He was recognized for his technical knowledge and contributions and was made software development authority.

      Satish holds a patent in the area of signal processing and has represented himself as a technical speaker in many seminars.

      His current interests are in the area of open source, mobile internet, system integration, building simple solutions for larger problems, cloud computing and a gamut of service hosting.
